Cookie Policy
A clear explanation of the small amount of browser storage this site uses.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They help a site remember information about your visit. Similar browser storage can be used for the same purpose.
What we use
hitsuzendō does not use analytics, advertising, marketing, or social-media tracking cookies. The site uses one necessary browser preference to remember whether you have responded to the cookie notice. This keeps the notice from appearing every time you return.
Cookie details
The preference is stored locally in your browser under the name hitsuzendo-cookie-consent. It contains only your choice — accepted or declined — and does not identify you or track your activity. It remains until you clear your browser storage or use a new browser or device.
Your choices
You can decline optional cookies through the notice shown when you first visit. At present, this site has no optional cookies or tracking technologies, so declining does not limit any site features. You can also clear this preference at any time through your browser settings.
Third-party services
The contact form sends information securely to our hosting and database provider, Supabase, when you choose to submit it. This is separate from cookies, and the form is not used for advertising or behavioural tracking.
Changes to this policy
If we introduce optional cookies or another tracking technology in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your permission before using it. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
